 Products of the Hive

Currently, we do not directly advertise products of the hive (honey, wax, candles, etc.) on this website.

If you are interested in purchasing local honey, it can be found in many local shops, farmers markets. and at local shows and events throughout the year.

You can also look on the EBKA  or Bee data website to find details of where to buy local honey

Each year, our members produce many tons of honey, along with candles, wax and many other 'bee' products. Local products can make excellent presents for that special person. In addition, many people believe that products containing local pollen can help with various allergies, hayfever etc

The main products of the hive are:

Honey*                    Available in either 8oz, 12oz or 1lb jars
Honeycomb            Usually sold in 8oz containers and makes a tasty and unusual treat
Beeswax polish Use the polish sparingly and buff with a soft cloth, working along the grain to bring out the fine patina of wood furniture
Beeswax              Pure beeswax with a thousand uses, ranging from cosmetics to modelling. Available in large or small quantities
Candles               Many different types and styles are available

*Many different types of honey are available. Our members can advise on the different types, which may include: honeydew, borage, heather, rape, runny honey, soft-set, set and chunk honey.
