The Chelmsford Division of the Essex Beekeepers Association (EBKA) has over
80 members in the Chelmsford area. With the revived interest in bee keeping and other similar hobbies, the division continues to grow and welcome new members.

Some of our members are just getting started as beekeepers whilst for others, this has been a lifetime's activity. All share an interest in the wonderful and remarkable world of the honey bee.

The purpose of the EBKA is to provide our members with interesting and practical information about the “how-to’s” of beekeeping. The association also provides the general public with educational programmes about honey bees and the benefits of beekeeping in our communities. On this site you can find out all sorts of information about bees, swarms, honey etc.

NEXT MEETING: Monday February 20th - Start The Season - This meeting will cover what we should be doing during February and March to help our bees give their best. To be held at Link Hall, Methodist Church, Rainsford Road, Chelmsford CM1 2XB starting at 7.30pm.
